Meet Holland! This charming boy has features like a baby lion and the personality of one, too! Holland is a very chatty cat who is playful and endlessly curious, making him an entertaining and lovable companion. He is initially shy with new people, but he quickly warms up and shows his affectionate side by nudging, licking and rubbing against you. He enjoys playfully wrestling with his favorite plush toys, chasing after string toys or just being silly in a cardboard box. He also loves snack time, especially if you have lickable treats! During the day, you're likely to find Holland performing parkour around the house and gazing out the window. With his unique look and endearing habits, he is sure to win your heart! Holland's adopters should know that he can be very vocal at night when he still wants to play, and he has a history of play-biting when he is excited. To address his nighttime vocalization, we recommend providing him with lots of enrichment opportunities, including daily play sessions with different toys and an electronic feeder that can be set at night. Our Adoption Team can also provide additional recommendations to address Holland's rough play habits. Holland's ideal home would give him the time and space he needs to settle in, and once he's feeling comfortable, provide him with lots of attention and playtime. Due to his playstyle and high energy, he would do best in a home without young children. Holland may do well with another friendly, playful cat who is around the same age. He also does best with two clean litter boxes set up in easy to access, quiet areas of the home, filled with clumping litter that is scooped several times a day.
