Hercules is a 4-year-old male Domestic Shorthair cat who is a bit shy, longing for a quiet and calm environment where he can gradually build his confidence. His previous family describes him as having a sweet disposition and enjoying playing and running around. He loves being close to his humans, often lounging on the sofa or ottoman, and occasionally sleeping in bed at night. Hercules is a food lover and has fond memories of enjoying the screened-in porch at his former home. Despite his past experiences, Hercules' interactions with people have become a bit more reserved here at the shelter. He is looking for a patient adopter who can understand his need for time and space to feel comfortable and safe again. With a gentle approach and a nurturing environment, Hercules has the potential to regain his trust and become a beloved companion once more.
