We just can't understand how someone could abandon this incredibly beautiful and affectionate cat. Henna is a young female flame-point Himalayan (about a year and a bit ), with soft and silky cream coloured fur, burnt-orange points, some orange blush on her back and tail, and gorgeous baby-blue eyes.
Henna is the ultimate lap-cat. Just pick her up and set her on your lap, and she melts into a blissfully purring ball of happiness, licking your hands in appreciation. She's quite vocal, too, so if you set her down too early, she'll grumble and protest to let you know. And if she wants some attention, she'll talk to you to get it.
Henna is a remarkably social and active cat. She greets visitors at the door and entices them to pat her. Rather than sleep, she prefers to explore her surroundings and keeps finding new places to check out (like the drawer beneath the cutlery drawer, as shown in the third photo). She does, however, like to be the boss, so a home with no other pets or small children is best.
As I write this, the sun is streaming through the window, and Henna is happily ensconced on my lap, her soft fur glistening in the sunshine. She just couldn't be happier, with a sunbeam and a warm lap to nap on.
Henna is being fostered in the same home as Minnie.
