My Story

Update July 16: Our sweet, petite senior Heidi is still looking for her forever home. Heidi's owner passed away leaving 4 senior kitties, Heidi is the last of those cats looking for a home. She is a very kind and gentle cat, quiet and can be reserved. Her history says she is about 18 years old, but she does not act her age. Heidi can easily scale the stainless steel kennels in her room and loves to sit on top and look out the window. She has been interested in meeting other cats and head bumped a few, but is usually rebuffed ("what's a gal gotta do?"). She is one of the prettiest dilute torties's we've ever had in, her colouration pattern makes her appear almost a salmon beige, with those bright green eyes. In a sea of kittens, do you have room for a senior? Let's chat. Heidi arrived at the shelter on May 2, 2024 as a surrender due to death of owner. She is a short haired dilute tortie, estimated at 18 years old. She is a senior cat, so her adoption fee is reduced. It is reduced more if a senior person adopts her. She would do best in a quiet adult home, as an indoor cat. For an 18 year old, she is in good shape.
