My Story

Meet Bob and Heidi! Bob and Heidi are a deeply bonded pair of cats who are searching for a loving and tranquil forever home. Their story is one of resilience and companionship, as they were abandoned by their previous owner who could no longer care for them. Despite the challenges they've faced, their bond has remained unbreakable, and they are now ready to find a new family who will cherish them as much as they cherish each other. Bob is a 4.5-year-old male blank panther with a heart as gentle as his spirit. A true connoisseur of shyness, Bob finds comfort under blankets where he can observe the world with his curious eyes. He is slowly learning to trust the volunteers who care for him and enjoys the soothing sensation of being brushed and petted. Heidi is a 2.5-year-old gorgeous dark tortie female who is a bit more skittish, easily startled by sudden loud noises and unfamiliar faces. However, with patience and gentle handling, she is also beginning to gain confidence and enjoys the attention of those she trusts. Together, Bob and Heidi find solace in each other's company, never straying far from one another. They love to curl up in a quiet corner, napping within inches of each other, a testament to their inseparable bond. Due to their close relationship, we are requiring that they be adopted together. Bob and Heidi's gentle and shy nature makes them perfect for a calm and peaceful household where they can continue to build trust and confidence. They would thrive in a home without small children or dogs, where they can feel safe and loved. They cannot go to a home with a resident female cat as Heidi does not get along with them! If you have a tranquil home and a loving heart, Bob and Heidi could be the perfect addition to your family. Give these two beautiful souls the chance to flourish together in a safe and patient environment. Adopting them will mean experiencing the true joy of seeing their personalities blossom with your love and care! You can make an appointment online to meet Bob and Heidi in person at the shelter. Their combined adoption fee is $400. *To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.* Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats. Once you have a confirmed appointment, you can monitor the adoption appointment calendar and move your appointment to an earlier opening should one become available. We are not able to contact you to switch your appointment. Stay up-to-date with all events and happenings at Caring for Cats! Search ""Caring for Cats"" on Facebook. *Cats are removed from Petfinder when adopted. If you see a cat on Petfinder, it is available for adoption.*
