My Story

Dobby and Hedwig are a magical bonded pair who were surrendered to us when their owner could no longer care for them. These two 5-year-old best friends love each other dearly and want to stay together forever. Hedwig is a long haired gray and white girl, and Dobby is a tabby boy. Hedwig, the affectionate girl, will delight in cuddling and snuggling with you practically the day you bring her home. She is a lovebug who will shower you with affection. She also has a chronic skin condition that might flare up and require a visit to the vet for some potion or spell (well ok, medicine...), but her loving nature more than makes up for this. Dobby, named after the loyal house-elf, is a bit more reserved and will take some time to come out of his shell. Once he does, his affection matches Hedwig's. Dobby's quiet, loyal presence is a perfect complement to Hedwig's outgoing personality. These two are a wonderful pair and will be a fantastic addition to your home! If you're looking for a pair of magical companions who bring both love and joy, Dobby and Hedwig are the perfect fit for your enchanted home. Follow the instructions below! -------------- If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://thecatconnection.org/adopt/adoption-application/ Following the instructions and filling out this application rather than emailing us will get you a quicker response. Please also consider fostering as an alternative to adoption. To learn more, go to: http://thecatconnection.org/get-involved/foster/ Adoption Fee (effective 3/15/24) < 12 mos. $375 1-4 yrs $300 5-9 yrs. $250 10+ yrs. $125 These fees fund spay/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and combo testing (feline leukemia and FIV) for your adopted cat, rescue efforts, shelter, and veterinary care. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two! The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. To find out more about us, please visit our website: http://thecatconnection.org/
