Hazel

Hazel came in with four of her siblings after originally being found discarded in a dumpster. Hazel and her siblings are slowly learning to trust people, but so far are still very wary of us humans. Our volunteers are working with the kitties to build their confidence. We hope that once in a home Hazel will be able to settle in and trust her family but she is the most shy out of the bunch so we have no way of knowing for sure. Anyone who is interested in Hazel or her siblings would need to understand that while they may warm up they may always be quite shy. Hazel is around 5.5 years of age as of February 2024. Even if she is always a nervous kitty she can still be a wonderful companion. Hazel either needs to be adopted with one of her kitty buddies or needs to be adopted into a home that has another cat. She is very much a cat-social gal and needs the interaction with a companion of her own species to feel comfortable. The adoption fee is $125 for a single cat, $200 for a pair, and includes distemper vaccine, rabies, dewormer, flea treatment, spay/neuter, FeLV/FIV Combo test and microchip.
