My Story

Haralson: #ADOPTABLE from his foster home while he awaits a spot at an adoption centre. Email [email protected] to meet and apply to adopt Haralson. Male, domestic short hair, brown tabby Mr Haralson - dapper, handsome, tabby perfection. The middle of the bell curve. Peak of fuzzy cat goodness. The refined sports car of the cat world. Photogenic, friendly, good natured, and just generally a prime example of Felis Domesticus. Harry wants to be involved in every aspect of your day. If you're petting another cat, Harry will slide up between you and make sure you're now patting TWO cats. Specifically head pats, Mr. Haralson loves a good head pat more than anything other than play and food. He is an exceptional wand toy chaser who will impress with his athletic abilities and utter disregard for his own safety and surroundings - nothing gets in the way of him chasing down a toy! He needs it as well, he's got big male cat energy and an outlet for that is very important. Another good outlet would be a big cat companion around his age, as Harry is very fond of a good cat wrassle. Dinner time is heralded by the teeniest squeaky little meows. It's adorable, and you would never guess that he would make such noises. You will also never forget when to feed him - he will not let you forget! #Compatibility Cats: Yes, cats around his age and size who are very playful and energetic. Not a good match for older cats Dogs: Unknown, no exposure to dogs while in CatNap’s care Children: Yes likely ok with older kids #Age Estimated age: 11 months #Veterinary #Information • Haralson has been neutered • Haralson recently had a comprehensive dental procedure done including extractions and cleaning/polishing were done. He has good oral health currently. It is recommended that he continue eating a dental kibble exclusively to decrease the plaque and bacteria in her mouth. Some of this food with brand information will be provided to the adopter. • Some of Haralson’s colony mates experienced upper respiratory symptoms while in foster care (Haralson did not). This is usually caused by the feline herpes simplex virus and is very common in rescued cats and kittens. We help manage these symptoms by adding a common amino acid supplement, lysine, to wet food daily. A cat may have a flare-up of symptoms in future due to stress, such as a change of environment such as an adoption centre and/or new home. A document explaining this in more detail will be included with the health record card given at time of adoption. • Vaccinated for FVRCP and Feline Leukemia • Microchipped with free lifetime registration • Deflead and dewormed • Six weeks of pet insurance • Health record card • Specific diagnostic testing may also have been done as each cat's health may warrant while in CatNap's care. Should you wish to have more detailed information before submitting an application, please contact [email protected] CatNap's Adoption Fee for Haralson is $450 While he awaits a spot at the adoption centre please email [email protected] to meet and apply to adopt Haralson.
