Halewood

Hiss, purr, chirp. Hello! I'm Halewood, a young DSH Snowshoe Siamese kitty, born approximately 10/17/23. I was born outside and then had a litter of kittens while still a kitten myself, so I had a lot to learn about caring for kittens and interacting with humans. I ended up being a very attentive and protective mother. I am slowly learning that I really crave human attention, but I don't always know how to ask properly. My first reaction is to hiss, but that's just my way of saying Hi. I love to have my head and cheeks rubbed. Doing so will cause me to purr and purr! When I'm comfortable with you, I will chirp and roll over to show you my belly. That doesn't mean that I welcome belly rubs yet though. I still get startled easily, but I'm trying really hard to learn to trust. I'm up to date on my vaccinations and I've been spayed. No more babies for me, thanks; I want to finish growing up. I will need a patient adopter who will allow me more time to flourish and become comfortable with human love. I am comfortable being around other kitties, but some of my protective instincts might take a while to fade away.
