My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*If you do not already have a YOUNG, age-appropriate feline companion for a young kitten and do not wish to adopt two kittens, please consider adopting a feline nearer to one year of age or older. Young kittens will NOT be approved for homes where they will not have a young feline companion.* Gypsy was found in a volunteer's garage during the Polar Vortex. She stayed there for a few weeks getting fed well, kept warm, getting dewormer, treated for fleas and vaccinated while waiting for an opening at the shelter. She has since been spayed and updated on all her vaccines, and now has a microchip, too. Gypsy is a little timid yet. She does let you pet her and love her up, but if she gets out of her cage she is very hard to catch. So we are still working on her socialization skills. She is not at all aggressive, and purrs like a motorboat when you pet her or hold her. We know there is the perfect family out there who will give her the time and patience she needs to really let her snuggle-bunny self shine. Complete our online adoption application a www.littleorphansanimalrescue.org to start the process of adding an adorable kitten (or two!) to your home. Adoption fees for kittens include spay/neuter, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, and a microchip.
