He has Irish Melanosis which is a feline-specific condition where the iris becomes pigmented. , so you will notice he has one green eye and one brown eye with pigmentation. It will be an item to monitor during yearly checkups with the well kitty visits at the vet. He has had previous exams completed with this eye and no concerns are noted. At first, Gunther might appear to be introverted and shy, but once he is in a comfortable and quiet environment he becomes very friendly and affectionate. He is playful, too! Gunther loves to sit on my coffee table and watch my battery-powered butterfly flutter around in its jar. He enjoys chasing string/yarn, too. His favorite place to nap is in my clothes closet, so it's a good thing I keep the lint rollers handy! He is also a talkative kitty like many black and white kitties are, but I don't think he is overly talkative. Gunther will make a great companion for an individual who is a homebody with a relaxed environment. He prefers little to no interaction with children, dogs, and other cats.
