Guinevere is a deserving Queen awaiting her castle, but she's had a heartbreaking journey. Here’s her story: She was adopted from the shelter as a kitten in 2017 and was returned in November 2020. The excuse for surrender was that she was “trying to escape”. Not really a surprise given the shape the poor girl was in...she had URI and her eyes were infected and swollen closed, she had extensive hair loss (likely stress induced), she was aggressive and petrified. She spent a number of months back at the shelter during which time her fur grew back and she learned to trust humans again. At that point she was placed in an awesome foster home where she has flourished.
Like her namesake, Guinevere would do best as the queen of her own castle - no other pets in a quiet home. She loves to snuggle up next to you for a snooze and has a fantastic purr. Playful and petite, we think she's about 4 years old.
Guinevere has now been waiting a year and a half for her family to show up.
