Gucci

Sadly, every year the shelter gets in “hoarder cats.” The cats have never known a clean, loving home. Many of these cats are unsocialized and scared. The first hoarder situation of this year is the named the “G” group. We pick a letter to know which hoarder they have come from. Lucky for this group, the owner got sick and had to give up the cats. Many were kept in single cages or crates in a dark basement. The lucky ones, lived upstairs in rooms. If you adopt one of these cats, you are actually RESCUING a cat. They need your help! Please remember they will need a lot of time to adjust. A quiet home is best, start them in a small room, then slowly let them explore the home in their comfort time. They can be adopted as singles or pairs, and they can live with other cats. They have never been with dogs, kids or let outside. Gucci was kept in a cage in the basement. Her face makes your heart melt. Gucci is about 10 months old. She came into the shelter extremely emaciated and dirty. She was 4.2 pounds. Gucci is thriving at the shelter, she is eating very well and we hope she gains many more pounds. She is trying so hard to trust people yet she enjoys very much lots of petting and toys!
