Graybie

Graybie is a special girl, that will need a special person to love her awkwardness. She has done well with dogs around, but can defend her territory with other cats. With our clinic adoptable cats, she has shown this by giving some baps and swats, never full-on attacking another cat. She may do better as the only cat in the house, but could learn to tolerate a feline roommate. It takes her a bit to warm up to the right person, but once you have earned her trust, she flops for belly rubs, and seeks out attention. Interactions with her can be awkward, but if you are the chosen one, you can do no wrong. Graybie knows when food time is, and will lead you to her bowls when she needs something! On a good day, Graybie will entertain herself, and those watching - with her zoomies! She does have a weepy left eye. We have tested her for respiratory illness, tried antibiotics and drops, etc. while at her stay with Passion for Paws. We are seeing slow improvement, and she is able to see out of both eyes, getting around just fine despite her physical appearance. This is something we would like her forever home/owner to be aware of and keep an eye on, but we hope this will not affect her finding a loving home!
