Granite

Meet Granite! Granite is a purebred lap cat. As a former local colony member, Granite socialized himself following participation in our TNR program and ultimately chose the indoor life (thus his tipped ear). Having experienced the outdoors, Granite deeply appreciates the amenities of domestic life and thrives on social engagement. He enjoys other cats, is good with children, and we are confident in his ability to adapt to a life with dogs. Granite insists on personal involvement in every aspect of your life, knows exactly where the treats are kept, and particularly enjoys counter tops. Due to his feral lineage and upbringing Granite does have a few health needs, but luckily he is very cooperative about it. For various digestive issues he currently receives one pill daily, a liquid medication every other day, and a monthly B12 supplement. Granite does not have strict dietary restrictions, but he definitely benefits from more specialized food options. Adoption will include any meds we have for him at the time, a comprehensive tutorial on our current routine, and the option to continue using his local established veterinary care. Granite will also likely need dental work in the future, but that concern does not appear to be immediate. If you're interested in Granite, he is more than ready for a permanent home!
