Feline leukemia virus (FeLV) weakens the immune system and may shorten lifespan. However, cats with FeLV can live long, healthy lives with proper care. Please note that FeLV can be transferred to other cats through mutual grooming, fighting or shared feeding dishes and litter boxes. They should therefore live only with other FeLV + cats or as a solo cat.
Like all our adoptables, Gracie should be kept as an indoor only cat and have routine wellness exams at the veterinarian.
