Gordon

Gordon came from a trailer park off of Gordon Road. He was so affectionate, the care giver wanted to help him find a safe forever home. He would run up to her for dinner time and follow her to her car when she went to leave. He was starving for food and attention. He would let her cuddle him while he made biscuits with happiness. Gordon must have been someone's cat at some point in his life, but they left him to fend for himself. Gordon is a large, laid-back adult tuxedo cat who has had his share of a rough life, including fighting off an attack and bearing his battle scars. He was attacked by a dog or a coyote and has a large scar on his head and his right side. He had a bad limp for a while, but he's healed. Despite his past, he is now ready for adoption and gets along wonderfully with all cats. Gordon's relaxed demeanor, resilience, and bravery make him a perfect companion for anyone looking to add a loving and easygoing feline friend to their family. Our adoption process: 1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt 2) Meet with the cat in their foster home 3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules. We are a completely foster based nonprofit rescue run by volunteers. We do this work out of love.
