My name is Goldie and I am a super sweet little girl with lots of energy who is looking for a great new home where I can be an only cat. It's not that I don't like other cats but they generally don't like me because I love to play a bit rough, especially at first. I have been adopted twice through PAWS-OK and returned twice. My first home was with a young couple who had another cat that didn't like me, and when I chased him (just to play of course) he got hurt. My second home was with a wonderful family where I was an only cat and the family had older children and I loved them all, but alas, had to be returned when a younger child who came to live with them was severely allergic to me. I would like another home like my last one - lots of people (older kids please) with lots of activity to keep my busy mind entertained but with no allergy issues. Is that too much to ask for? PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008. All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home. We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes. Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age. A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours. Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days. If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center.
