If you see a pet here, they are still available for adoption and you should apply through our adoption application on our website at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ Go Fish is a super sweet little guy that loves running through his tunnels, chasing his siblings and playing with his favorite toys. He loves a good cuddle puddle and is very affectionate. He loves pets and getting lots of attention. Wand toys and Nerf balls are his favorites. He has the cutest little meow and isn't afraid to use it. Go Fish is a very special kitty. He suffers from a moderate case of Cerebellar Hypoplaysia (aka Wobbly Kitten Syndrome). Sounds scary, but all it means is that the part of his brain that controls his balance didn't form properly before he was born. He can eat just fine on his own, but an elevated food bowl would be great once he's big enough to reach it. While his symptoms won't improve or get worse, over time he will learn to adjust to his wobbles and will become more steady on his feet. He runs around like crazy, eats and uses the litter box like a pro. CH doesn't mean a shorter lifespan either. He can live just as long as any non-CH cat. With Go Fish, you'll never have to worry about him jumping up on your kitchen counters either. Go Fish is a very social baby and would love a home with another kitty or gentle doggie. He craves attention and having the companionship of another four legged friend would help keep him company and out of trouble. We encourage you to consider adopting kittens in pairs! There are several reasons why Go Fish would do good with a friend, including: -Two kittens keep each other entertained - they will play and get all their energy out on each other in time for snuggles with you! -Having two kittens to play with each other prevents "I'm lonely and bored" behavioral issues. -Watching two kittens wrestle is quite possibly the cutest thing you will ever see. -The kittens will teach each other "how to cat" and learn to be more social with humans and people. -You'll save two lives instead of one! Go Fish is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained. Go Fish's adoption fee is $165. Please note A.R.F. does not approve applications for any kitten under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL.
