My Story

Name: Gnugget Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair Age: 12 weeks as of 7/20 - Estimated DOB 4/22/24 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 3 lbs as of 7/12 Coloring: Brown Tabby Type of Hair: Short Living with: Georgia, Gary, Grady Girl, Ginger, Gnugget Gets Along With: Because of his young age, Gnugget will likely get along with other cats, dogs and kids with an acclimation period. We're happy to help with tips and tricks! Currently Living at: Shelter... Gnugget needs an adopter in DC to secure her freedom ride! I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Gnugget, and I am a cute little kitten! I won't ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self. Two kittens are better than one, and I'd love to be adopted with one of my super cute siblings! What the Shelter Says About Me: Gnugget was really assigned the name 'Nugget' but was needing the help of Momcat Gigi...so his foster named him 'Gnugget'. (The G is silent...like in gnat.) This little fellow joined his litter at three days old, his sweet mamma-cat had just had a litter of her own 10 days prior and she did not hesitate to take this little nugget in! She wrapped her front legs and paws around him at their introduction as if to say, 'He can be mine too!' Gnugget never knew any different and settled right in. He is the most social of the litter and will be the first to greet foster mom every day. Gnugget came to his foster with a crook in his tail and it is the cutest trait ever! You can see in his eyes that he is laid back and loving! He has been socialized with other cats and dogs. What My Foster Says About Me: coming soon!
