Our funny old man Giorgio came to us when his senior human was no longer able to care for him. Giorgio at 14 was un-neutered, semi-feral, and had some questionable dental issues. He also ended up with some severe ulceration in his eye which resulted in it being removed. He has since been neutered and had his teeth done. He is not a lap cat, and is very clear about his boundaries--both with humans and cats. You can sometimes get in a little head pat or cheek scratch when he is having a snooze. But he is always front and centre on the counter supervising meal time and he has a super playful side and will bat toys around the floor and race after them. While he doesn't buddy-up with any of the other cats in our community cat room, he benefits from being part of a group and would do best in a home with no expectations, and some other senior buddies.
