Geovonie

Geovonie is a beautiful siamese cat who is ready to find his happy and special home. Geovonie is a sweet soul who is currently just overwhelmed by all that is going on. We consider him semi-social, which means that he hasn't gotten a lot of human interaction in his life and is therefore wary of people. Geovonie often avoids being touched or handled and will need lots of time and patience to come out of his shell. Many semi-social cats warm up to their families and get to a point where they enjoy being out and about. Some, however, stay shy and more introverted. Semi-social cats are not working cats and don't necessarily have experience outdoors. For Geovonie, he just wants a loving home like any other cat and deserves a family who is devoted to him! Geovonie also some chronic URI symptoms, and has a dental procedure scheduled in early August. As such, he will be a foster-to-adopt cat. Foster-to-adopt is used when the pet needs medical care, but it is scheduled for a later date. The adopter technically fosters the pet in their home to begin with, with expectations to adopt later. In Geovonie's case, the foster period will last until August 9. In foster-to-adopt situations, AWS shoulders the cost and oversees any medical concerns, surgeries, and recovery periods, all while knowing the pet already has a forever home. Geovonie might be your classic introvert who likes his own space, but he is a really sweet cat who deserves a loving home. He would prefer a calmer, quieter space without small children, and might enjoy the company of another feline friend who can show him the ropes. In time, we know Geovonie will blossom and become the cat he's truly meant to be. He just needs someone special like you to give him a chance!
