My Story

Hi, my name is George. I’m approximately 3 years old, am a neutered, front declawed male with medium hair. My family dropped me off in the country just under a year ago. Why my family dumped me, I don’t know. I don’t think I did anything wrong. I’m a total sweetheart and I love attention. So, being alone and afraid, I found my way to a farm with a big barn, which I made my new home. I bared the horrible Wisconsin winter and survived. Let me tell you, being outdoors for the first time in my life in below zero temperatures was extremely scary, confusing and lonely. The lady who owns the property found me one day and was nice enough to give me food and water. She had no clue how I survived on my own. I started coming out every day she was out to say hi. I missed human contact and my family.

She called a family member who came out and got me one afternoon and took me to her house. Wow, is it great finally being back indoors! I missed it so much. Anyway, I was whisked off to the vet the next day to get my shots updated and tested for health concerns, which the vet was amazed I was totally healthy, a little on the skinny side, but perfectly healthy non-the-less. I’ve been at my foster’s house ever since and am looking for my forever home. I love to watch outside, lounge around and love attention. Do you think you could open your heart and home to a cat that was dumped for no good reason? I’ll be anxiously waiting to meet you.
