Gentle Dakota

Initially misdiagnosed with a tumor, we later discovered she was in the late stages of pregnancy with a large hernia. A complex surgery saved Dakota’s life, and she has fully recovered though her three premature kittens, unfortunately, didn’t survive. Dakota is a sweet and gentle cat. She enjoys exploring her surroundings, indulging in delicious canned food, playing with catnip toys, and relaxing on the couch or by a sunny window. Dakota is super sociable with people and children, loves to lounge by your side, and would do best as an only cat. While her compatibility with dogs is unknown, she has proven to be very well-behaved, with no issues of scratching furniture reported by her fosters. She’s spayed and up to date with vaccines. All of AdvoCat Rescue's cats and kittens are fostered in private homes. We require a completed pre-application to be submitted prior to scheduling potential adopters to meet them.
