Meet Galileo, a dignified 10-year-old with a heart of gold. He might be a little older now, but his spirit shines bright! Galileo loves nothing more than following you around the house, a quiet and loyal companion. He's easygoing and content with the simple pleasures: delicious food, a comfy place to nap, and of course, a good cheek scratch. Don't be surprised if he sidles up to you for a loving face rub. Peace and quiet are Galileo's middle names. He gets along swimmingly with other calm creatures, making him a perfect fit for homes with fish or reptiles. He wouldn't mind feline company either, as long as they share his mellow temperament. He is FIV positive, which sounds much scarier than it actually is. FIV is a virus that means kitties have a slightly weaker immune system, so it's good to take them to the vet a little earlier if they aren't feeling well. FIV kitties are often overlooked, but they can live long, happy lives, just like other cats. FIV also cannot spread to spayed/neutered cats, so your other cats will not be affected as long as they're spayed/neutered. Please let us know if you have any questions about this!
