My Story

Meet Freddy, the sweet and affectionate senior kitty looking for his forever home! This charming boy wasted no time making himself at home, snuggling up in his foster's bed on just his second night. Freddy is seeking a quiet and loving household where he can be the center of attention as the only pet. We estimate that Freddy is 10-13 years old. He has hyperthyroidism which is easily managed with a simple transdermal medication, along with a special urinary diet to keep him healthy and happy. We aren't sure how Freddy would do with children since he has never been around them before. However, he'd prefer to be the only pet in his house. If you're searching for a loyal and easygoing feline companion to brighten your days, Freddy could be the perfect match for you! Are you interested in this senior sweetheart? Follow the instructions below! ------------- If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://thecatconnection.org/adopt/adoption-application/ Following the instructions and filling out this application rather than emailing us will get you a quicker response. Please also consider fostering as an alternative to adoption. To learn more, go to: http://thecatconnection.org/get-involved/foster/ Adoption Fee (effective 3/15/24) < 12 mos. $375 1-4 yrs $300 5-9 yrs. $250 10+ yrs. $125 These fees fund spay/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and combo testing (feline leukemia and FIV) for your adopted cat, rescue efforts, shelter, and veterinary care. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two! The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. To find out more about us, please visit our website: http://thecatconnection.org/
