Foxie

I LIVE IN UNIONTOWN PA.! Foxie and her sister (Roxie adopted) were dumped off in a box on Barneys Run Rd, she is about 13 weeks old now. This is a pitiful story. There were actually 4 of them, they were in a box, placed on the road in front of a farm. Foxie and Roxie stayed in the box, the other two litter mates did not, one litter mate was killed on the road, the other one was either picked up by someone or is still out there running, but, the condition that these two kittens were in, that litter mate probably died. These two girls were malnourished, they had flea infestation and terrible worms as well as tapeworms. The fleas were on them so bad, that from the scratching and digging, the hair is very thin in spots. The ear mites are gone. They are FeLV/FIV (-). Their appetites have picked up, they drank a full cup of water in a 30 minute period. These two sister are very lucky. UPDATE 9/11/2005, they are now approximately 13 weeks old, they are growing really well, very healthy and playful, but, instead of growing taller, they have grown long! She is talkative and so soft, the hair is finally growing back in, she are about 3 pounds now. She is a very elegant and sweet kitten.
