My Story

She's just as sweet as she looks; Fart is an absolute doll! This little cow kitty was born in June of 2023 and has been with the rescue since August. She likes to talk to people with adorable chirps and meows. She's soft and loves to cuddle, especially if you have hoodie strings that she can play with. Fart also loves playing with plastic spring toys and glitter balls. Shortly after arriving to our rescue she met Poopsie (the grey and white kitty in the pictures) and they've been BFFs ever since. They spend almost all their time together and Poopsie can often be found grooming Fart during their cuddle sessions. Fart is a pretty chill lady who doesn't mind dogs. When Fart was a tiny kitten (under two months old) she had trauma to her spine. While we don't know exactly what happened, we do know that she was born on a farm, so perhaps she was stepped on by a much larger animal. Because of this she is partially paralyzed. Fart doesn't have use of her back legs so she scoots around on her back end. She is incontinent and needs to have her bladder expressed several times a day, which she does very well for. Fart usually poops when her bladder is being expressed but sometimes she may leave a rogue turd on the floor. Due to her mobility issues, Fart mostly stays on the ground level but will take advantage of a low tablecloth and pull herself up (every day is arm day!). In her foster home she has a ramp that lets her get to the second level of a cat tree. If there are accessible windows, she loves watching birds and leaves outside. She also loves scratching on cardboard scratching boxes. Because they've bonded so closely, we're looking for a home that can take both Poopsie and Fart. Cats at Seymour Mutts Rescue come with the following medical care already provided: Spay/neuter Rabies and distemper (FVRCP) vaccines Microchip FeLV/FIV testing Deworming Flea preventative Adoption Fee: We believe in lowering the barriers to adoption; because of this, we do not require a minimum adoption fee. We do, however, rely on financial contributions. Any funds received is at the discretion of the adopter and goes toward the care of animals in our rescue. Send us an email or inquiry if you have any questions about Fart or if you're interested in meeting her! She's being fostered in Madison.
