I'm a cat who does everything in a big way. I not only like to be in the middle of things - I like to lead the parade. I'm an adventurous cat, but I'll still make plenty of time to show you my affectionate side. I'm the demonstrative type, you might say. Want a cat who's brimming with confidence? That's me!

Everest is the most playful cat I have ever met. At first meeting, he is looking to see how he can have fun with you. Not shy at all, Everest is easy to get along with. He needs to be the center of attention, at least when he wants it, that is.

Everest has 3 out of his four legs. But don't let that deter you. It sure doesn't slow him down! While he was having his pictures taken he was so playful that the photographer had trouble getting a shot that was not blurry! Everest was reportedly overheard saying the following to another cat at the shelter, "I don't like people to feel sorry for me because I certainly don't. I get along just fine, and frankly, this missing leg gets me more treats than other cats!" I guess he knows what he is doing!

Just a word about disabled cats - a disabled cat can still lead a full and enjoyable life, given a chance and an understanding owner.
