My Story

**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens** Everest, Logan, Ulysses and Rania are kittens born and rescued from a multi-cat household so they can find loving forever families. Everest is the sweetest little thing with the cutest, most unique hairline, peeking at you with curiosity from underneath adorable bangs! This energetic and brave boy loves jumping for feathers toys and tracking the laser dot, and just like his brother Logan, a fiend for Catit treats! It’s hilarious to watch them compete for turns at the yummy tube of happiness! Everest has a healthy appetite and good litter box habits. He doesn’t mind being held and is not fussy when it’s time for a nail trim. If you think you can handle this level of cuteness everyday, then don’t wait long! He is ready to find his forever family with his brother Logan, sisters Rania and Ulysses, or meet and befriend a nice cat at his new home. Everest is happy either way, as long as the treats keep coming too!! Would you like to make Everest and his littermates a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: avacats.org/adopt/adoption-form. Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping. Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator. All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it’s twice the fun for you, and half the work!
