Meet Emmy! This beautiful little girl is everything you could ever ask for in a kitty: she's playful, sweet, social, cuddly, and exceptionally quiet.

As you can see from her pictures and video, Emmy is a very tolerant and good-natured kitty - and we think she would make a stunning pet model! She can also be very playful and active.

She is a true Ragdoll and will go limp in your arms when you pick her up, and she also loves to follow her foster-family members around their apartment.

Sadly, Emmy has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), meaning her immune system is weak and she is more susceptible to infections and disease. Unfortunately, FIV is communicable to cats that are FIV negative and Emmy should not go to a home with other cats. However, FIV poses no threat to humans or other animals.

The lifespan of FIV-infected cats is highly variable. More than 50% of FIV-positive cats remain asymptomatic for many years. About 20% of FIV-infected cats die within 2 years of diagnosis (i.e., 4 to 6 years after infection). Currently, Emmy is showing no signs or symptoms of FIV and is happy and active.
