Emily Jo was a lonely little stray who was helped by a kind Brooklyn family who fed her, but couldn't take her in. Their little girl, Emily, had fun playing with Emily Jo. They contacted PALS for help.
After being taken to the vet, Emily Jo was vaccinated, and treated for any possible parasites. She was friendly but feisty, and did not hesitate to let the staff know when she wanted attention!
Emily Jo is a shorthaired, female kitten who is approx. 12 weeks old. She has a lovely, soft, silver-gray coat. Even though she is shorthaired, Emily has a fluffy tail - a very funny combination!
In her temporary home Emily was nervous at first, but now she is adjusting and getting along well. She is having a great time romping and wrestling with the family's other kitten, and has had no problem with their older dog. Emily loves to be held by their children, and likes being the center of all the action. She is outgoing - not at all timid or shy! Emily Jo has already made herself at home, and is sleeping with one of the kids at bedtime.
Emily appears to be a very healthy, active kitten. She is eating great and faithfully using her litter box. She would make a wonderful, affectionate companion for most any family!
Emily Jo may be adopted for an adoption donation to PALS of $30, which includes her kitty shots, and worming. Please see the contact information to the right to find out more about adopting this little girl!

ADOPTIONS: We don't let the fact that you might live out of state stop any adoption that's meant to be, but you MUST be willing to drive, or fly, all the way to pick up your new family member.
ADOPTION DONATIONS: Adoption donations for PALS animals go directly either to medical care for those or other furkids in need, or towards the fund for building a much-needed animal shelter.
