My Story

Hi! I'm Emilio!! I am an approximately 2-3 year old neutered male cat.
My story is a sad one. I am declawed on my front feet, but sadly, my owner let me run loose outdoors. I was attacked by another cat. He tore up my hind end. My owner paid for me to be vetted and helped me heal. A week after being attacked by a cat, I was roaming loose outside and was hit by a pick-up truck. This tore open my old wounds and left me in a big mess!! My owner was tired of fooling with me and surrendered me to a kill shelter. I was so confused and in so much pain!! My foster mom and dad took me in and cleaned my wounds. It appeared that things were getting much better. However, after a few weeks, I took a turn for the worse. I got a really bad infection in my tail. We tried everything possible to save my tail, but the infection was too much. I was in pain and I felt terrible. The decision was made to remove my tail! Now that my tail is gone, I am a new man!! I am so happy to be pain free!! I love the other cats that live in my foster home and I am about as easy-going as they come. If you are looking for a cat to add to your family or are looking to get your first cat, I am the one for you! I MUST be indoors because I do not want any more injuries. Other than that, all I need is lots of love! I am current on all vaccines and I am neutered. I am perfectly ready for my new family.
