Emerald is a beautiful cat and famous too! She was rescued from a precarious situation that actually made the NY newspapers. A dog chased her up a tree and she was there for quite a while. Finally she was rescued and was brought to Animal Control. After the waiting period to see if anyone claimed her, (no one did) she was due to be euthanized!!
