My Story

Third Coast Pets Alive! She and her 4 siblings were rescued from an animal lover's backyard, and made it into the rescue. They are without doubt, the most affectionate, snuggly litter I've ever fostered (and I've fostered over 100 kittens at this point). They will all take turns climbing up onto the desk while I'm studying to gently ask for affection by rubbing on my arms with their head or body. If you pick them up or touch them in any way, they immediately start purring. The perfect mix of affectionate but not needy, confident but not obnoxious, respectful but not shy, playful but snuggly, social but independent. They are well socialized with other cats and dogs. You may notice that miss Emerald has an odd look to her right eye. That is due to her whole litter being exposed to a virus when they were very young, still living on the streets. It caused this permanent change to the surface of her eye, but it seems to have completely healed, with no vision issues. She had a vet appointment on 8/5 to verify this. She, like both of her sisters, has this adorable habit of suckling on a specific cat bed. It's just that one bed, they'll knead, suckle, and purr themselves. Just overall great girl, would do well in most homes! Third Coast Pets Alive! PO Box 302, Montgomery, Texas 77356
