My Story

Dutch is a big kitty with a big personality who lives for food and naps! He just recently started making biscuits which was fun to see for this tough guy! He likes to cuddle up by your feet when people are relaxing and he would rather not be picked up. Dutch has been around other cats in the home and he does well with slower intros. He even had a chance to be a big brother to a rescue kitten and did excellent with him! Dogs are tolerable for Dutch since he is not an aggressor. Friendly dogs learn quickly to not get too close, thanks to a warning hiss. He won’t likely become a dog’s best friend but he will definitely be yours. Since he really does live for food, you will see his feisty side come out when he’s hungry. He's a playful guy who also loves chilling. If an interesting, calm, sometimes quirky, and happy companion is what you need….Dutch is your guy Hello there, I’m Dutch and I thought I would give you my own description of my purrsonality, I know you’ve heard a lot from my foster humans but nobody can really explain me! I am very gentleman like in the way I sit and act but I can also be playful! I’m a tough guy but also a baby. The humans decided to get me a kitten to take care of and teach how to be a gentleman. I would prefer the dog leave me alone but I can tolerate her (she doesn’t realize I’m the boss). I like when the humans are at their desk so I can head-butt them and show them how much I would appreciate it if they let me on the table! I sit on the windowsill and ask the humans for food but they don’t want to share! All in all I like it here but I can’t wait for my forever home so I can show someone else how polite I can be! FIV positive. FIV positive cats can live a long, normal life. https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv
