My Story

Dusty was living the wild life outdoors when he was trapped in the community and brought in to the shelter. He was hungry and very afraid of people and fiercely hissed trying to protect his two sisters. He is slowly learning to accept people and seems to like being held and pet. He will sometimes still hiss if he's scared or startled but has never tried to scratch or bite. He will do best in a quiet home with a patient loving person who can Help him further learn to trust people and become his best sweet self. Small children may frighten him and although he has been around a dog in his foster home and isn't terrified anymore he hasn't made friends. All he needs is a special person to give him a chance for a safe indoor life.
