Dusty has quite the story of survival since arriving here.
*Chapter one: Last fall an employee found this scared, senior lady outside the SPCA doors in a crate with no information
*Chapter two: During her intake exam it was noticed that she had severe stomatitis (inflammation of the gums) which made it hard for her to eat
*Chapter three: Due to a complication with her meds to help her mouth, she went into heart failure and needed hospitalized for several days
*Chapter four: She then developed a nasty upper respiratory infection once back at the shelter and needed more medical care
*Chapter five: For two months the medical team and Dusty fought a hard battle of keeping her heart happy but also trying to keep her stomatitis calmed down enough that she could eat
*Chapter six: It was finally determined that she needed a full mouth dental to give her the best quality of life, which she thankfully flew thru like a champ and started finally eating and recovering
*Chapter seven: Our strong heroine is on heart meds for life that are a breeze to give. She is happy, sassy, full of life and ready to find her family to help her reach her final shelter chapter.

- She is happy as a single cat but would also be fine with other cats as long as they can respect her boundaries.
- She has the most stunning green eyes that contrast perfectly with her rose colored nose
