I'm Duke, a handsome long-haired Flame Point Himalayan. I am very friendly, enjoy attention, being petted, and I've got a good purr too. I like to play with toys--little balls with bells in them that I can bat around are fun! Oh, did I mention I am handsome too? My former caretaker was a sweet lady but she was elderly and had a hard time taking care of me (and my roommates Soosie and Julieanne). When she was relocated to a nursing home after Hurricane Gustav in New Orleans, we moved into a ferret rescue...can you believe? We are pretty sure we don't look like ferrets. But then we ended up here at the House of Mews so here we are waiting for new forever homes. Approx. DOB is 3-19-07.
