Drew Barrymore is a 6 year old spayed female. She is current on her vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative! Meet Drew Barrymore! Drew Barrymore is a gorgeous and laid back lady who can't wait to be pampered by her forever family. She may be a bit shy and more reserved at first but don't let that fool you as all it takes is a few gentle pets and snuggles to get her to open up to you. She absolutely adores head and chin scratches - and if you dare stop petting her before she is done she will reach her paw out to you or nudge her head against you to ask for more. When she's not busy soaking up your attention, she enjoys spending her days catnapping in a warm bed, relaxing next to a sunny window, or lounging up high on a cat tree or cat shelf to get a birds eye view of everything going on around her. Drew Barrymore is a mellow and low-key kitty who is looking for a bit of a calmer and quieter home where she can relax as she does startle easily at times from fast movements and loud noises. So, she would prefer a family with slightly older children at least 8 years of age or older who won't chase or scare her. She currently resides in a communal living area here at the shelter with several other kitties who she doesn't seem to mind so she should do great in a home with another feline friend. We also feel she should do ok with calmer dogs in the house too given slow and proper introductions to one another.
