My Story

Dory is a playful kitty looking for a home to call her own. She likes to do her own thing but also loves to jump up next to you and crawl on you for affection. Dory is quite active and will hide in tunnels, climb scratch posts and will chase a teaser toy all over. She enjoys playing with her furry friends and needs a home with at least one other playful kitty to keep her company. She loves head scratches and short pets, naps in the sun and jumping out of hiding to follow you into different rooms of the house. She is real good about finding those hard to reach dust bunnies in hiding, crawling into small spaces and exploring. She may take a brief moment to warm up, but once she does she will melt your heart with her quirky personality and love. Her love language is nibbles if you dont pet her and shes craving affection. She does need a home that has someone home a majority of the time as she gets stressed and eats random things around the home. If she sounds like the right kitty for you, please fill out an application. Her foster parents are Lindsey R. The adoption fee for Dory is $70. If more than one cat or kitten is adopted the adoption fees are discounted. Please complete our online application form if you are interested in adopting Dory. A volunteer will contact you as soon as possible. All Kalamazoo Animal Rescue cats & kittens are spayed or neutered and feline leukemia tested prior to adoption. They also are given medication to rid them of roundworms and checked and treated for fleas & ear mites, if needed. Additional vet care may have been provided depending on the particular animal's needs. All are given distemper vaccinations and depending on how long the pet has been in foster care, additional vaccine(s) may be necessary and the expense will be incurred by the adopter.
