My name is Dory and I'm a year and a half old. Yes, it’s true I’m as pretty as a stock photo. But make no mistake: my personality is anything but generic.First, I’m quite the explorer (hence the name): If a door or a drawer opens, I gotta check it out. Next priority is play. Have you ever seen a cat do parkour? Well, I’m quite the acrobat—especially when a feather wand toy is on offer! I also love plush toys and enjoy a cat version of “fetch.” I’m quite the Foodie. Meaning, if there is food I will find it! It seems I was born and raised inside, but then I was abandoned on the streets to fend for myself. These events have left me a bit food insecure, so please have some patience with me. I’m not destructive, just a little anxiety mixed with kitten energy. My final priority, you ask? Cuddles of course! I’m a very affectionate gal. The one thing I love more than treats are chin scratches! I’m in search of a furrever home where I can settle in and showcase all the love, purrs, and cuddles I have to offer when I’m feeling secure. Some final notes: Not a fan of dogs and I’m a little picky about cat friends. I enjoyed hanging with my sister before her adoption, but not a fan of my foster’s cat. I’d probably do best as an only cat for now but could likely consider a cat buddy after I’ve settled in (proper introductions of course). Otherwise, I’m a litter box pro with an accident-free record, fit as a fiddle testing negative for FIV, FeLV, and heartworm, updated on vaccines, and the experts estimate I’m just about a year old. Won’t you take me home? Entertainment and affection await! Dory (DOB 7/1/2022) is spayed, has had all her age appropriate vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and is litter trained. Please note, fosters do get final approval for any adoption as they are most familiar with the personalities of their foster kittens and cats. Kitten Angels is a non profit, volunteer organization. We rely solely on fostering, volunteers, donations, and adoption fees. An adoption fee of $175.00 must be paid at the time of adoption by either cash or check. All of our adoptable animals are assessed in foster homes, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
