Dorothy has a very sad backstory, and we can't blame her for not wanting to trust people right away. Dorothy was found by a Good Samaritan, her and her kittens were inside a heavily taped cardboard box.. in a dumpster. Whoever had Dorothy in the past did not want her and her babies to live, but thankfully they were found just in time. Dorothy had to have trusted her previous people enough to let them put her in that box, but understandably now she does not trust anyone to touch her much. She needs a quiet, patient home that will understand all she's been through. We believe with time, she will learn to trust people again with her heart and safety. Dorothy would do best in a home with no young children or dogs. She is around 1-2 years old.
