Looking for a lap cat? Doodle's your guy! Doodle came to Zazzy Cats Kitty Rescue after being surrendered by his owner . Doodle loves, loves, loves his people. Loud motorcycles? Noisy teenagers? Barking dogs? He LOVES them. Doodle is very vocal. When he meows it's very squeaky like a toy. Doodle is an affectionate young cat, about one years old (born in October 2022), Doodle is very playful: he loves any toy on a stick, especially bird toys anything with feathers really! He loves to watch the birds outside the window in his foster home -- they drive him crazy! He loves to neck nuzzle his people and can never get enough of head-butts and butt-pats, and enjoys taking naps on his foster parents' laps. Doodle currently lives in a loving foster home with, other foster kittens, resident adult cats, and three large beast dogs, two German Shepherds and a Doberman. So he is extremely well socialized and loves being with other cats and kittens. Doodle is used to hearing the foster's 3 large dogs barking, he's not easily startled but extremely curious. He loves to lay on the dog bed with Coco our very docile and nurturing Doberman, who loves to bathe and clean all the cats. Doodle had experienced a serious medical issue on June 1st, 2023, when he was hospitalized for a urinary blockage. He was able to safely pass several blockages and was able to get the life saving surgery that he so desperately needed down in Mexico because it was too expensive here in the states. In order to maintain a healthy life he needs to remain on a urinary care diet in order to help prevent that from ever happening again. Other than that he has no other special needs except for love and butt pats. Doodle would like a home with other cats as he is very much a beta that needs his alpha. With Doodle's temperament he would be fine with a calm and mild-mannered dog, that can respect boundaries. Doodle is also certified little kid approved! Doodle is spayed, up to date on his vaccinations, flea free and has a chip that will be registered to his new owner once he is adopted. Come meet Doodle! Please be sure to completely fill out all pages/questions. Once received, we will send it to the foster parent (or adoption representative at the Petsmart Adoption center if the cat is in an adoption center) who will reach out to you in a day or two to go over your application, the process and answer any questions you might have. If after that initial conversation, both parties feel the cat could be a match we can then set up an in person meet and greet. *Adoption fee is $160 for one cat and $280 for two when paying cash. Credit card payments will incur an additional fee so please ask for more details. * Cat(s) will be fixed, microchipped and have age-appropriate vaccines. Thank you for your interest!
