Donkey Kong

Hello there! My name is Donkey Kong. My foster mom calls me DK. I was about a month old when I came into the rescue with my siblings. We all started out quite hissy, and I was the last to stop hissing. I'm still very cautious about being picked up. My foster mom uses wet food to lure me in, but once she has me I relax pretty quick. With a little more time and patience, I'll know getting picked up isn't so bad. Even though I'm not the most affectionate kitten yet, I'm definitely the most playful! No one is crazier than me when it comes to play time. I can catch anything! Even though being held makes me nervous at first, I wouldn't mind kids. The little two legged toddler loves it when I chase toys she runs around with. (Doesn't matter if it's a feather wand or a shoelace) I think having another kitty in the house would give me someone to follow and learn from too and give me someone to wrestle with. My foster mom's dogs are really nice and I'm getting used to them, but I'm still cautious and run away if they approach me. I think I could get along fine with some doggy siblings, it'd just take time to get to know them. It's a little embarrassing to admit, so dont laugh, but the vacuum really scares me! I'll hiss and try to fight it, but for some reason I never seem to win. I think I'd make a really great cat for someone looking for a quirky guy like me, could that be you?
