Dolly came to us from a situation where her owner was unable to care for all of her cats properly and needed help. Dolly had not been spayed, so she had a few litters of kittens at a young age and she was so busy raising her babies that she didn't have a lot of time for proper socialization. For this reason, Dolly is a nervous gal and can be a bit testy. We are confident that with a very patient person that this girl will come out of her shell and blossom. Her adopter just needs to be prepared that might take a while and Dolly may seek refuge in a hidey bed until she is feeling braver. She would benefit from another kind, but confident cat in her new home to show her the ropes! If you're willing to give 2 shy girls a chance: Dolly is BFF with Miriam so they must be adopted together!
