Dinkie

Our sweet Dinkie do has been through a lot! He was formerly a Hermitage resident and then he got what should have been his forever home. Unfortunately, he was found living in a parking lot for quite some time and someone took him in to get him medical care when he got sick. Eventually he made his way back to us and needed some extensive medical care to get him back into good health. He's feeling well enough now that we get to see his loving and goofy side. He is definitely a staff and volunteer favorite and we feel he's ready for a true forever home! Dinkie had a couple of months ago and lost a lot of his teeth. He still has an area of sensitivity that is only noticed when his food hits that area the wrong way. He typically just backs away from his food but then comes right back to it. He still has weight to put on and his hair is slowly growing back because he was so matted, he had to be completely shaved down from the time he spent living outside. Dinkie is FIV + so please feel free to speak to a staff member about adopting a FIV + kitty if you are interested in one of the sweetest boys!
