My Story

Dillman ACCT-A-160265 is a 1-year-old female who came in as an stray on 3/21. Staff noted on 3/21 that Dillman's body condition was poor, and that she was not thriving. Spayed and rechecked on 3/24, staff observed the following: "BAR, eating kibble and canned food and there are normal eliminations in her litterbox. Heart and lungs aucult normally, mucous membranes pale pink and moist. Abdomen soft and non-painful, spay incision is healing well with no erythema or discharge. There is mild mucoid ocular discharge in her left eye and scant serous nasal discharge present at time of exam. ... Appears to be healing well post-op from abnormal spay and doing well so far in care. Has gained small amount of weight since spay surgery. She appears to be breaking with mild URI symptoms. Per staff on 3/24, Dillman was curled up in her den, fighting through eye and nose discharge. She shrunk away from handling initially but tolerated and eased into gentle pets on the head.
