Diamond came into care with a degloved (skinned) tail that would not heal. It was decided to amputate her tail so she would have no more pain. Her tail hair grew back in such a way that she has the cutest "bunny tail."
Diamond is a very intelligent cat but definitely a "DIVA" and a spicy girl. She loves to be pet and involved in what you are doing but she does not like to be carried around. She does get overstimulated easily so she would do best in a quiet home with a FURever parent that will listen to her "please stop touching me" notice before she strikes out. The reward is great for a patient person.
Come meet her or one of our other 150+ residents during Happy Hour - the two hours prior to Sunset each day of the week. Dress comfortably and don't wear any fancy shoes as part of the facility is outside.
