Meet Dexter! This handsome lynx point sweetheart is so in tune to what's going on. He is smart & intuitive & sensitive. He loves to eat; often times finishing his first bowl of wet food & requesting a second. He curls up so comfy and knocks out for a nap, but if you come in to pet him he'll wake right up, happy to be the object of your affection. He's an easygoing cat who finds joy in the little things in life. He would thrive as an only cat but would also do just fine in a multi cat environment as he's had no reaction to any of the other cats in his foster home. He is roughly 1 year old. Currently in foster care in Fullerton. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation. All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Thank you! ____________________ Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue. We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized. We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis. When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family. If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.
